Pastoral Care

Clergy are always available at St. Aidan's to provide spiritual counseling and pastoral care.  Do not hesitate to contact one of the clergy for prayers or for a visit to your home or the hospital if you are in need.  We can be there to pray, listen, or bring communion.  If no one is in the church office, in an emergency you can reach John Baker at (703)360-4098 or Elizabeth Rees at (703)360-4653 or (703)307-0472.

There is a large team of volunteers that help out by providing meals to parishioners in need, whether they have a new baby, have just returned from the hospital, or have some other need.  If you would like to help with this ministry, contact Elizabeth Drembus (drembus4@verizon.net).

About a dozen lay people have been trained and equiped through the international pastoral care group Community of Hope to help provide pastoral care to people that are house bound or experiencing a need for pastoral care.  If you would like to hear more about this group, please contact Elizabeth Rees (reeseliz@yahoo.com).
