St. Aidan’s is undergoing exciting renovations that will better accommodate our growing congregation and will modernize our facilities.  Our plans include a new entryway and garden, a chapel area, robing room and a greeting/meeting area.  Please check this space for continuing updates on our building-in-progress.

During the summer of 2006, our sanctuary received a new roof, as well as a new heating and air conditioning unit.  The parking lot was repaved, and the day school received repairs and a fresh coat of paint.  A new sanctuary choir area with risers and an acoustically-friendly rear wall was completed in September.

Other interior renovations will continue throughout the next year, including work with our architect to consider design ideas for the font, altar and ambo (or generally known as the pulpit ).  One interior change already underway is the refurbishment of 250 congregational chairs.  The chairs are being repaired as necessary, restained, repadded and re-covered.  (Would you like to dedicate a chair to someone special in your life?)
