St. Aiden's Episcopal Church
A community of faith where all are welcome
Welcome to our church

Our Mission:

St. Aidan's is a worshipping community, welcoming people wherever they are on their faith journey. Our purpose is to nurture and develop faith in God and equip individuals for ministry in all aspects of their lives.  We invite others to join us as we strive to grow in love of God and neighbor.  This is the work to which Christ calls us.

A Short Course in Theology

Who is this God we serve?  What do we know about God?  How do we know about God?  What do these questions have to do with our lives?

For these two Sundays in January adult education will focus on Theology, or Words About God. (we will take a break from Sunday School on January 18th for the MLK  holiday and inaguration.)

Scripture, Tradition and Reason are the resources we have for understanding our relationship with God.  Human understanding of God has always needed to change over time as we learn more about our universe and ourselves.  Each new age brings its own challenges, which must be met with a fresh examination of what kind of God we serve and what God might have us do .
