Elizabeth Rees, Associate Rector
Elizabeth Rees received her master’s degree in divinity at Virginia Theological Seminary in May 2007. Elizabeth grew up fairly locally in Columbia, Maryland, received her bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University and her juris doctor degree from Emory University. She practiced law in Atlanta, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., for seven years before starting the ordination process. She was ordained a priest in December 2007 and can't imagine a better place to be than St. Aidan's. Elizabeth is married to Holden Hoofnagle and has three children, Sophia (6 1/2), Dylan (4), and newborn Maya..
